🚀 Episode 062: Nupoo’s shortcut (with a detour into chaos)
In today’s episode of Hudson & Hanna, our resident little genius Nupoo shows off his latest wild invention:
“Check it out, I built a shortcut through space!”
Hudson, wisely (and skeptically), asks the question we’d all ask:
“Built or guessed?”
Before anyone can answer, Nupoo launches them all into warp speed with a loud WHOOSH…
And just as quickly, they slam to a stop with a messy CRASH.
And it’s Hanna, ever the realist, who delivers the final observation:
“Travel time: halved. Landing grace: zero.”

This strip was a blast to draw because it let Nupoo’s overconfident inventing streak shine through.
The hardest part? Drawing the improvised “shortcut ship” (built from whatever parts Nupoo could find) and timing the WHOOSH → CRASH so it’s fast, but still funny.
It did take two days instead of one, which is a reminder that sometimes keeping it loose and simple helps keep the comic rolling daily — even if the landing isn’t always graceful. 😉
