🌀 Life interrupted... beautifully.
Hudson and Hanna took a tiny pause—and so did I.
I missed a few daily posts this week, and if you’re keeping score… I hope you’re not. Because life showed up, and instead of pushing back, I made room for it. And it turns out, that’s not only okay—it’s necessary.
Earlier, I shared some thoughts on time management. This week became a masterclass in that, but not in the “check every box” kind of way. I tried out new techniques to improve the comic strip (Hudson and Hanna are nothing if not a moving target). I dug into a couple of new creative projects. I hung out with the family. And honestly? It felt good to let the rhythm shift.
What’s interesting is how these moments away—the ones that feel “off-script”—actually feed the creative engine. They remind me why Hudson gets grumpy and Hanna still shows up in spite of it. They remind me why I tell stories at all.
So yes, we missed a few panels. But what we gained? Perspective, inspiration, and the kind of energy you can’t schedule.
Back tomorrow with fresh mischief from our favorite workplace duo. Thanks for riding the pause with me.
