Introducing Nupoo. The coolest cat in the Galaxy!

Balancing Life and Comics: A Creator's Journey

In my last post, I talked having a buffer, and let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer. I built up two months’ worth of material, and it has truly been a lifesaver. Having that extra content ready has not only eased the pressure of deadlines but has also given me the freedom to focus on other aspects of both my creative work and personal life. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the value of time management. You’ve got to take a break and intentionally schedule time for yourself and your loved ones. It’s so easy to get caught up in the grind, but stepping back and setting boundaries has made all the difference. Finding this balance has helped me stay energized and inspired while still putting out my best work. Who knew that a little planning and self-care could go such a long way?

In the comic strip, I can’t help but relate. Now that I’m "grown-up," I often look back and realize there were times I thought my parents didn’t know what they were talking about. Turns out, they actually did.  It’s funny how perspective changes over time. As a kid, life felt simple, and the rules or advice from adults often seemed unnecessary or overly cautious. Now, standing in their shoes, I understand the wisdom behind their words and actions.

Who would have thought I’d turn into my parents? Turns out, they knew all along—go figure!
